domesticity. The Not Such Little Women Trail leads visitors
to museums that showcase the accomplishments of extraordinary
women who helped change the lives and roles of women,
and thereby changed history and culture. The Nichols House
Museum and Fitchburg Art Museum offer a look at the growing
influence and participation of women in the arts. The
Longyear Museum examines Mary Baker Eddy’s role
as a religious leader, author and businesswoman. The Wellesley
Historical Society focuses on women in a number of fields,
from Canada’s first woman physician to a Nobel Peace
Prize recipient.
