Spellman Museum of Stamps and Postal History
235 Wellesley Street, at Regis College
Weston, MA 02493

this election year, the Spellman Museum will celebrate American politics with the exhibit "Effecting Political Change: Elections, Revolutions, and Propaganda." Highlights include examinations of revolutions in China, Cuba, Russia and elsewhere, self-rule movements in Africa and Asia, and a display of stamps and ephemera related to U.S. presidents.
With a collection of over 2 million postage stamps from hundreds of governments, you could say the Spellman Museum has one of the largest collections of political documents in New England. Stamps reflect a country's history, self-image, and aspirations, and so they are often miniature documents of a country's political history
